How do we screen and verify platform teachers

1

Show only experienced independent teachers

We give priority to independent teachers who already have practical teaching experience, including:

  • Teaching experience in international schools/international curriculum institutions
  • Public school international department, bilingual school, overseas course tutoring experience
  • Long-term one-to-one or small class teaching experience
  • Teaching experience in A-Level, AP, IB, IGCSE, IELTS, TOEFL and other systems

We will not directly recommend new teachers with no teaching experience and only academic background to parents.

2

Verify the teacher’s educational and professional background

Incoming teachers need to provide corresponding background information:

  • Highest academic diploma/certification of service abroad
  • Overseas undergraduate/master/doctoral background
  • Experience in relevant subjects or examination systems

Some academic certificates, certificates or employment materials are only used for internal review and will not be directly displayed publicly to protect the privacy of teachers. If parents need verification when confirming teaching, they can provide it.

3

Verify real teaching experience

We will focus on whether the teacher has actually taught the corresponding course. The review will refer to:

  • Previous experience
  • Curriculum system and examination board taught
  • Teaching experience
  • Student types and grade levels
  • Are you familiar with the corresponding exam requirements, scoring standards and exam preparation rhythm?

Different systems such as A-Level Mathematics, AP Economics, IB Biology, IELTS and TOEFL are very different. We will try our best to confirm whether the teacher actually has the corresponding experience.

4

Refer to student performance and parent feedback

Teachers will provide past teaching results, and we will organize and display some of the publicly available content, which may include:

  • Student performance improvement cases
  • Screenshot of exam scores
  • Parent reviews
  • student feedback
  • Course materials or proof of teaching achievements
